What a wonderfully welcome break from Patricia Highsmith’s Ripley Under Water; which is so boring that I’m reading it what feels like four times because my mind keeps wandering. Just like your bookstore guy, I’m determined to finish it.

Perhaps my analogy is similar; Patricia Highgate is my husband and you’re my bookstore guy.
