I loathe Sinatra, cannot stand what a bully he was, how abusive, condescending, and spoilt, but I have absolutely no idea what you’re bitching about here, unless you’re one of those blind worshipping fans who can’t bear to see their idol in any way contradicted. I’m actually surprised his letter was this articulate. And there’s never been any evidence anywhere, despite his reputation, of homophobia. He was a very close and protective friend of the bisexual Sammy Davis Jr. after all. Always check your facts and please, take your blinders off. And for the record, I’m a big fan of George’s.

I wish you all, including our gorgeous hostess, a very happy New Year and I pray that you all discover enough good taste and discernment inside yourselves to recognise that Frank was the King and Michael George, or George Michael, or whatever, was so dumb that it took him 50-odd years to accomplish what he obviously wanted which was suicide by drugs.

What a total JASTARD. My grandparents who were pro musicians in the 30s and 40s, used to enjoy reciting a list of performers who should’ve retired years ago when their voices gave out. He was always top of the list. Pathetic extended milking of a former decent voice to serve a bloated ego. Sick.
