So happy to hear people are still having adventures! All mine were in much warmer climes.. .Indian and the Carribean… much braver soul to follow his heart in chilly US!

this is the kind of adventure we college kids dream of having after we graduate. few follow through though.

Also I am now curious about “the condom routine”

and the name “elias” is very lovely, but then again, so is the name “lucas”

Wow. Thank you for sharing! Lucas is making memories to last a life time. He makes me want to pack up a few things and hit the road (but only somewhere like Hawaii, and only for a few hours . . . I grow old, I grow old. I shall wear my trousers rolled.) He’s also incredibly lucky to have only suffered some bad weather, terrible meals, almost molested, and a traffic ticket. I was so engrossed in his story I didn’t see my boss-lady standing behind me while I reading this post.
