excellent point, Sadie! I would take a make-up less Tilda, over the “made-up” Hollywood, women, who had to be dragged, kicking and screaming into middle age, like Meg Ryan, and Goldie Hawn, I prefer women, who age gracefully, and accept getting older, women like, Catherine Deneuve, Jodie Foster, Susan Sarandon, Diane Keaton, Sissy Spacek! and yes, Ms. Swinton.

Actually, she is wearing makeup in this photo, but even without it I think she is the most beautiful woman in the world. She inspires a lot of us to wash our faces and just accept aging gracefully, as she is. She is not your typical botoxed silicone Hollywood mannequin and I love her for it.

I can completely understand the frustration with forced obscurity, and of course personal tastes and distastes. But saying you vehemently hate a woman because she does not fit your stereotypes of femininity is disgusting, and something that must be spoken out against, not reiterated further.

I can reveal the twins were born in 1997, and are named Honor and Xavier. Tilda supported herself and her husband for a year by betting on horses, ahem!

I was astounded that she chose this to wear to the Met when the theme was superheroes! Wouldn’t you expect that Tilda Swinton of all people would take that theme and run? Seriously!
