I felt embarrassed. Both women looked great, but why did it have so be so low-end? Pole dancing and ass-shaking isn’t empowering and makes you look desperate. Unflattering groin shots and floor writhing; it was a cringe-fest.

I commented that all of J-Lo’s movements had a stiffness to them. My wife pointed out, in a slightly irritated tone, like I’d been hypercritical, that J-Lo was in her fifties, so, deserved to show a little stiffness. It wasn’t really about that, it was a lack of finesse, like you touched on, Sis, an over-thought going-through-the-motions performance.

I thought the show was shit. Lady Gaga didn’t. It was more shit when she performed.
