This reminds me of an incredible study done a couple of years ago, featuring the great violinist Joshua Bell. Johsua performed 6 classical pieces on a million-dollar violin at a busy Washington DC Metro stop during the peak of Friday morning rush hour. Very few people stopped. It’s a long article, but very much worth the read.

beautiful, very skillful editing – seamless segue from image to image in movement and in ideas… (didn’t really think the plinky middle of the road music helped much though)

There was plenty of non-beauty in it. Missing the bus, chopping the head off a fish, slicing skin open for surgery. I’d call this “life” before I’d call it “beauty.” And what I took from it was we are all the same. Nonetheless, I thought it was wonderful. Thanks for posting!
