Andra, that’s a very good question. I lived in several countries with public health care; in some cases it was good, in some rather crappy – but it was there, and if you were poor or unemployed, a hospital for your kid would not ruin you. I don’t get it either…I’m probably politically naive, but what’s so essentially wrong with it that it’s worth shooting people?

I still don’t understand why Americans don’t want all Americans to have decent and free (or at least affordable) health care.
Why???
Why would you riot and shoot people who want this, which seems like a pretty simple and democratic thing to me?

She’s alive, I believe? I just read a report somewhere that said she gave her doctors a thumbs-up.

That doesn’t really make this event any less sad, though- the innocent bystanders who were killed didn’t deserve any of it.
