I like the Rodarte shoes in a photoshoot setting. For the supermarket, not so much. And with that price tag, if you can’t wear them all the time they’re not really worth it.

The other shoes just look like the only thing the stripper would be left wearing at a cheap lap dance club.

I thought the Rodarte shoes were amazing when I first saw them. I still think they’re pretty cool but they’ve lost their shock appeal for me.
Plus I tried them on and they were like 10 lbs each. No bueno.

The heel on the Rodarte shoe fascinates me, but the rest of the shoe I can leave. They always have really bizarre heels… I remember ones from last season that were made to look like melted candle wax. The pageant shoe looks like one of those fringed western t-shirts that you see from the thrift store was glued to a sandal-boot and a heel was slapped on. It’s awful.

He, he, he, ha, ha! They do look more like an orc than something that should be worn by humans, or used as a weapon. Maybe the Borg would feel comfortable in the orc foot-thingy-come-weapon.

I’d rather go barefoot through snow and sleet than put on “pageant” shoe; the Rodarte has some redeeming quality as a weird sculpture, but makes a ridiculous shoe.
