Vickie you said it right. Other than victims, or therapists
very few general population people understand the
result of trauma, such as incest on young children.
Dissosciation, addictive behaviours etc that later permeate
the lives of these poeple. Her clarification of ‘not consentual’
was an important piece that portrays her journey into healing
and understanding her role as a child ‘not having the choice’!
We may not wish to hear about it, however it is quite common,
a crime and has long lasting impact on those involved, including
other family members that may be plaqued with guilt for not
knowing/seeing. Almost always done in secret and who has the
power is the perpetrator.
Regret the news is upsetting to many.

“Incest is the boot camp for prostitution.” It’s one of the sayings people who work with prostitutes have. Women who are traumatized over and over again as children by their families (and note that Mackenzie also claims that her “affair” began when her father raped her, that her father was giving her hard core drugs before she hit her teens, and that her father allowed a friend to rape her when she was a child) sometimes continue a lifestyle of violence and degradation as adults. That’s what Mackenzie did. I’ve known women in their 40s who were not only prostituting, but still having sex with the uncle or step parent who molested them when they were children.

I “think” it’s alright for me to give assurances.

Young Wolf is better. Sister Wolf however has experienced a sitback yet still, seems assured. However there “may” be a slight name-change in title – instead of godammit.com it may soon be “double-godammit.com”
