I saw this on the TV news, which showed her little daughter being comforted.<\/p>\n<p>I couldn\u2019t find much, but I did come across the \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dimensionsmagazine.com\/dimtext\/kjn\/people\/heaviest.htm\" target=\"_blank\">900 Club<\/a>,&#8221; which was pretty disturbing. I can\u2019t really tell if membership in this elite group is supposed to be an accomplishment; that\u2019s how it\u2019s presented.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve also been upset by recent stories about the <a href=\"http:\/\/bitsandpieces1.blogspot.com\/2006\/05\/1200-pound-man-seeks-life-saving.html\" target=\"_blank\">1,200 pound man<\/a> who has now lost&nbsp;\u00a0 around 400 pounds and even has a girlfriend. This story&nbsp;\u00a0evokes a troubling array of feelings for me.
