Kate is known to some of you as the author of <a href=\"http:\/\/makedostyle.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Make Do Style<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Her film is a charming and ambitious look at celebrity, aspiration, fashion and status, told through the chance meeting of a young couple who misread each other&#8217;s expectations.<\/p>\n<p>When Kate becomes a famous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/auteur\" target=\"_blank\">auteur<\/a>, you can say you remember her start in film-making.
