<\/a><\/p>\n Olek is a Polish-born artist who has chosen to \u201ccrochet everything that enters her space.\u201d A strange decision perhaps for a graduate of a cultural studies degree, but even stranger are her motives, \u201cin order to do two things at once: watch movies and make art.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Olek\u2019s artists\u2019 statement: \u201cA loop after a loop. I love how she has taken a craft associated with prim old ladies and made it crazy and vaguely sinister.<\/p>\n I love people with grand obsessions. As long as they’re not aimed at me, of course.
