This picture of a very young Angelina Jolie fills my heart with joy. Keep looking at it until you feel the joy, too.
Here, the young Daphne Guinness looks forward to adopting the role of Eccentric Style Icon.
See? Life is good.

Aww, don’t they look lovely?
Hahahaha! Thank you!!
It’s very nice to know that at one point me and Angelina were about level in terms of physical unattractiveness.
Also, that picture of Daphne Guinness prompted me to go and look up her age because I didn’t think she was young enough to look like that in the 80s– lo and behold, she’s only 45!!! Given the senility, I thought she was way older.
Angelina Jolie doesn’t quite look the full quid, to me – even at that young age.
I LOVE DAPHNE GUINNESS!!!!
its helpful to remember that I too-with the right surgeon/makeup artists/hair people could be fabulous.
So could I, Kellie, but in the meantime all you have to do is narrow your eyes a bit and meet me in the dark – and then I am yours!
They look so….so…average.
I definitely feel the joy. Thanks.
Thank you for this.
Whenever I need an ego boost, I google “Stars without their makeup”. It is always an uplifting experience.
sadly… I have already trolled the internet for ugly Daphne photos. I can’t find my copy of “On Being Blue: A Philosophical Inquiry” …. so one day when I am not trying to organize a wedding … I’ll get my hands on it and send it your way!
One day= in two weeks. God bless that day.
Oops *trawled
Duff, what’s this? You’re becoming a stalker!
Shame on you.
Wait ’til the memsahib finds out!
Old pillow lips is a hot mess.
I can’t help thinking how genuinely happy Daphne looks in this photo. She doesn’t seem that happy nowadays. It’s not about the smile, it’s something in her eyes. Sorry, just rambling.
