1956

Awww, Little Sister Wolf at 3 years old.   This picture is up on a bulletin board in the living room, with masses of other family photos.   I always thought it was cute until one of my friends deemed it “Tragic.” You know who you are, mister.

My alltime favorite response, from quite a few people: “Why is Max wearing a dress?”

It’s super cute. And as suspected, Max would have made a terrific-looking girl.

    Merry Christmas, SW!

  6. Joy D. says:

haha you are absolutely adorable. And the picture looks like an ad for Cola or an old department store.

  7. Bevitron says:

That is wonderfully cute! I love the curious, questioning look on your face. At 3, I would’ve just done exactly as I wold told – smile! hold still! – and done my terrified-idiot-child grin and wet my (& santa’s) pants.

  8. Cricket9 says:

The person who said “tragic” – a relative of Grinch, perhaps? You look adorable, and this Santa is a total classic. I don’t have pictures with Santa – when I was at the appropriate age, the Communists couldn’t put up with a “Santa”, so in public we had that suspicious figure – “Grandpa Frost”. It was still Santa at home, but he was always ringing the bell, leaving a bag with gifts, and disappearing before you could se him; apparently, because he was so busy delivering gifts to so many homes. Or so my parents said…
    Happy Holidays, SW!

  14. Marky says:

You look skeptical–and that Santa looks more authentic than any Santa out there!

  15. It looks like you’re saying, “You mean I have to choose between peace on earth OR a pony..? Aw nutz..
