Monastic minimalism from J. JS Lee for Fall 2011. You could add color to these elegant somber looks with the bright green suede boots we are all waiting for.
And you can add the brand’s black leather satchel, for a chic masculine look with a hint of schoolgirl.
The older I get, the more I see the practicality of a stark, austere uniform to set off one’s red lipstick and, god willing, some green boots.
Yes, please!
A big rectangular satchel hanging over one’s butt? Why? I’d like to see how it’s supposed to work when walking. I suspect it just doesn’t and the effect can be quite comical. The long skirt is dowdy. Overall – no, not my cup of tea…
Love it all. I’m waiting for green boots and shoes. Would love a pair of green shoes right now. As shallow as that sounds given the loss of life, home, freedom and health around the globe.
So me! (and so much less expensive than keeping up w trends. And when u wear black you can wear crap & no one can tell!) I have never heard of this designer. Thanks for pointing this out!
I like the bag, but not hanging low like that. If I could wear it as a messanger, I’d be a happy girl.
Mmmmm – green Docs

I would be very fierce in these looks and scare myself but my stomping would be very effective.
You labeled this as “shit I can’t afford” but to echo Andrea’s sentiments, I do believe that stark, austere can absolutely be done on a budget.
I have to admit I love this look xx
