  1. Dru says:

A few years ago there was some chatter about making knowledge of the English language a compulsory condition for people wanting to obtain US citizenship (I still don’t know if it’s a requirement, can anyone enlighten me?)….do you think someone could possibly use that condition to expel this stupid inarticulate woman from the country and send her among the polar bears?

Without a gun, please- I’m sorry about Arctic wildlife and all.

  2. niki says:

    Ironic this is on Hannity…

  3. Her make English sound bad-sounding. This makes me greatly saddened.

  4. Sister Wolf says:

RedHeadfashionistia – I makes me want to rip her head off and then jump on it.

  5. Juli says:

Man I hate her. How does anyone take her seriously? She is the single biggest reason I want to get the hell out of this country.

  6. AmandaMichele says:

Dru – You do not need to know a word of English to be a US citizen, the citizenship test is offered in Spanish.

Make Do Style – that is hilarious, because words fail Ms Palin ALL the time!

Also, that split infinitive makes me insane (to help clean…..damnit woman get a speech writer!). I am an accountant, not an English teacher, but I do know there is a subject, verb, common-sense agreement issue at hand here.

  7. Aja says:

I think she’s talking about Gawker exclusively. They do a pretty good job of making her look bad.

  8. tartandtreacly says:

Well, she’s no Lincoln, that’s for sure.

    More Palinisms here:

  9. Sheri says:

So, she’s not going to “waste her time” talking to journalists who are going to “spin” what she says in order to make it misleading or hide the “truth.”

Sounds like she does a pretty good job of that herself. Does she really think we need someone ELSE to tell us she’s an idiot?

  10. Jane Schott says:

I can’t believe of all the wonderful women our generation has nurtured we have to acknowledge this one.

  11. I remember a friend of mine at uni had a Bushisms poster on his wall. It’s only a matter of time before they produce a Palinisms one.

  12. Ann says:

I hate her HARD. I’m with Juli – she is among the biggest reason I want to move to Europe. Her fans and followers frighten me beyond repair.

  13. patni says:

there used to be a quayle quarterly of all the stupid things that man said, i think it needs to be revived to keep up with this stupid cunt.

  14. honeypants says:

“…more open than I already IM.” M? EM? The beige lipstick looks awful. She’s traded in the wink for the wide-eye, which is equally annoying. And her smug tone of voice, “I swear to you I will NOT waste my time with HER… or him ;)” UGH! I would like to drop-kick her bobble head!!!

  15. Kitty says:

    Ann,
I live in Europe – we have some pretty daft politicians here as well (sadly!). But then again, almost none compare to Palin.

  16. Esme Green says:

I’m English. We have our fair share of contemptible politicians here too. The grass is always greener…

Sarah Palin comes across as being dumb/thick/stupid. I can’t understand what she is talking about most of the time. Scary stuff.

  17. E says:

UK commenter here too – yes, we have our share of buffoons – but someone please preserve us from having to enter into a ‘special relationship’ with this. It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so deeply depressing.

Also – how long has she been impersonating Yoda?

  18. Ames says:

That’s it. Sarah Palin is part of a massive punking of America, and all her followers are in on it. The only rational explanation.

  19. Surely no-one takes Palin seriously?

  20. theresa says:

    has she started spoofing herself???

  21. Mary says:

Why is she still around? I thought she quit?? I don’t understand American politics.

  22. Brie says:

Every time this woman opens her mouth, I want to punch her in the face.

Why, out of ALL the intelligent women in politics, this one is given all the spotlight? There is no way anyone with even the slightest bit of intelligence can take this numbskull seriously.

She truly angers me with her self-righteous, nonsensical, entitlement.

  23. Cricket9 says:

Poor Kate, no more opportunities for an interview with Mrs. Palin – I guess her career is over, what she’s going to do?!?
@Brie – you’re right, I had a very strong urge to punch her in the jaw, especially when she does this wide-eyed, coquettish smile – oh, my hand just clenches in a fist. What strange vibes is she broadcasting? They should do some research on this , like in “The men who stare at goats”.

  24. Never mind snytax, her geography is worse than we thought. I mean, I had no idea which one you are allied with (though I had my suspicions) but then, I’m not trying to launch a credible bid to lead you.

  25. Sister Wolf says:

emmi – Yeah, but watch her blame the “Lamestream Media” for picking on her. That’s how she rolls whenever she makes a gaffe, which is continually. I’m now pretty convinced she will run in 2012. We need to brace ourselves.

  26. Debra Green says:

You had me at Mrs Palin is…..

I cannot believe how many Americans are taken in by this woman. Someone stop her now!

  27. eh says:

It seems impossible to shut this lady up using the ‘she’s an idiot’ argument, Americans don’t seem to care. I hope the Republicans do let her run. At the very least she is making them all look pathetic and fracturing their party. A celebrity politician is kinda just what America deserves – Dancing with the Stars? Her own reality series? I despise her with the heat of a thousand suns so I’ll be the first to laugh when she finally makes the wrong move and pisses off her ‘patriot’ fan base. The Korea thing could be a start – really, how many times can you forgive someone for knowing nothing.
Also – it is so awful to hear her say ‘lamestream’ like she’s some sort of outsider. Grrrrr.

  28. Cricket9 says:

She almost, almost makes Mr. Bush Jr. look good… we do need to brace ourselves for 2012. We Canadians do care who is in the White House; with Mrs. Palin there and Mr. Harper on the Parliament Hill it would be dark ages all over again.

  29. Taylor says:

She was in my state the other day, and my friend who works for the news had to film her. He did not enjoy it.

I hate her. And I think this Dancing with Stars rigged voting shit is the most embarrassing thing ever.

  30. Cami says:

We have ‘lol politicians’ here too. Pauline Hanson is a good one. Majority of people think it’s a total riot that someone like that manages to even get a hold of a soap box, let alone on national television. And then there’s that sneaky minority…

Palin is a stupid, stupid cunt. Well put, Sister. x

  31. Dru says:

AmandaMichele- thanks for that info! I did hear there was talk about the English condition for new migrants, though, so that’s where my misinformation came from. Though I don’t think the test being offered in Spanish would help Mrs Palin, either- she would be stupid and inarticulate in any language she speaks, and abuse its rules of grammar too.

I’m just disgusted that the name ‘Palin’ is more associated with her now than with Monty Python. UGH.

  32. Tina says:

When Tina Fey mimiced her on the Katie Couric interview, most of the things that Tina Fey said were actual quotes from Palin. God , what a twat!!

  33. mimi says:

@cami – did you hear that pauline decided NOT to move to the UK (to escape all the immigrants in australia) because she finally realised that there are even more muslim immigrants living in the UK than in australia? ah, she almost gives palin a run for her money. i wonder if she is still sad about her language and shopping trolley being murdered. haha.

ah its so scary some people take palin seriously.

  34. tartandtreacly says:

Crackpot politicians exist all over the world, but what makes them truly dangerous is the cultural and political climate that nourishes them. In America, we have our society’s virulent strain of anti-intellectualism to thank.

  35. Babsalicious says:

    That’s a catchy tagline.

My goodness, that Mrs Palin isn’t wery good to Engrihs is she?

  36. Tasha B says:

ha ha ha fail!!! ffs some people honestly….

  37. Ha ha ha. She talks on Fox New about the TRUTH! ha ha

  38. I can’t wait to see what she has to say about WikiLeaks.

  39. Marky says:

Never has a public figure triggered so much rage in me. Never. I saw an SUV with a “Sarah!” bumper sticker yesterday, and I swear that I was so deep into fantasies of civil war that I missed my exit on the freeway–by three miles.
