    Seeing all of these images together is almost overwhelming. It’s disconcerting to see even a bit of beauty in grief.

    You’ve probably seen Jackie Speier’s speech against the Pence Amendment in response to Chris Smith’s disturbing comments about abortion, but here it is anyway in case you haven’t

    I have tears looking at this art. Those paintings are beautiful and sad at the same time. I know the painting that does it for me each time is “The Scream” by Munch, it signifies how I feel sometimes, wanting to scream and not hear anything.
