Hmm. A new take on proper body ventilation?
I looked up Mr. Duff. I applaud the innovative styling – and Memsahib!
Andra, would you consider opening an e-store selling sarongs online?

  2. Question says:

    Dear Sister,
I have a question for you. I noticed that Judy Aldridge is listed under your donor page. Is this Sea’s mum, Judy? Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s awesome that she donated, but is this the reason why you have stopped posting about Jane/Sea?

    Hope all is well,

    -Q.

  3. Ann says:

    …even crap is expensive.

  4. Kellie says:

    quality is priceless???

  5. Suebob says:

Because where ELSE can you get slit knees? Huh? It’s a supply and demand thing, Economics 101. They have cornered the world market!

  6. Erika says:

    That’s just a shame

  7. David Duff says:

Crikey! I thought when I saw my visitor stats this morning, has ‘Big Sis’ been telling people I’m giving away dollar bills? But no, all she did was provide a link to the most exciting and innovative fashion shoot of the decade – thanks, ‘Sis’. And all you ladies are very welcome to visit but pleae try and control yourselves!

  8. annemarie says:

    Ahaha! Al Wang!

  9. Cricket9 says:

Right, Mr. Duff, “control yourselves”! Easier said than done, I couldn’t quite control myself when I saw the first picture!

  10. David Duff says:

Understandable, my dear, I have that effect on women, er, your heaving shoulders was passion, wasn’t it?

  11. Ah the Duffster takes the biscuit. Al Wang is merely playing second rate fiddle.

On a serious note – good grief did he actually design those Al Wang that is, Duffster would have made a wearable decent pair of jeans. Stupid does not cover the ridiculousness of those Al Wank jeans.

  12. dust says:

……because models are so tall and their legs so long, it was necessary to come up with something that will make them look short and fat, like everybody else. The price is high no only because of ventilation feature, but because of assimilation with us, lower species and the fact that procedure is non surgical.

  13. David Duff says:

I’m not sure ventilated trousers would be quite right for me. Judging by the complaints I have received over the years something with tight elastic round the ankles would be more desirable.

  14. dust says:

    Dear David,
I’m sure that if you need tight elastics around your ankles to contain the questionable content, ventilation is exactly what you desire. Isn’t that the main advantage of sarong, loose air in between? There was definitely an expression of pleasure on your face on those pictures.
You look lovely in skirt, by the way, suits you well.
    More men should wear skirts.

  15. RLC says:

Maybe it’s that I’ve been up for >24 hours writing essays but dear lord that sarong is a good look!

As for Wang – you can probably come up with an appropriate ‘wang’ pun yourself, I’m going to bed.

  16. TheShoeGirl says:

    GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. Witch Moma says:

because the slits are HEMMED = more work for someone. @ David: i prefer shot #3!

  18. Andra says:

These jeans are worth $ 3.45 because the lovely Goony bird has appeared them.
Now, if the divine Mr Duff had worn them in Spain, would the Spanish economy have improved or gone totally down the gurgler?
Cricket: I could sell sarongs on-line … that would mean more trips to Bali.
Not a bad idea. Any excuse for a week or two in Ubud.
Let’s work on that. All aboard for a trip to Bali hands up..

  19. Em says:

Because you can’t just go to Goodwill and find a pair of old jeans just like those and cut slits in them. Oh, wait…

  20. Debbie says:

because the knees are the new “windows to the world”.

  21. Knees are the new ‘it’ zone.

  22. Srenna says:

    Mom jeans with an edge.

  23. Aja says:

Those are so awful! Thank the heavens you found them!

  24. kt says:

Those look more like shin slits. Either way, there’s not enough irony in the world to make these look fashionable on anyone.

  25. David Duff says:

Come on, ‘Sis’, get a grip, you’re falling behind the times with your fashion posts. Never mind knee slits, or even sarongs, the latest in-thing, or, out-thing, I suppose, is bare ankles for chaps!

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2005681/Oh-chaps-DO-cover-QUENTIN-LETTS-tells-men-stop-bearing-ankles.html

Now, be honest, ladies, what do you think?

  26. jlynn says:

the slits make your knees look like they’re gossiping about your ankles

  27. Claire says:

These are worth $345 because you could put your feet through the slits and you’d have shorts. Two for the price of one.

    Putrid trousers.

  28. Marky says:

The thing that scares me is that if Junya Watanabe had done these for men, I would own a pair.

  29. Sheri says:

. . .Alex Wang says they are.
