Bill Donohue, president of The Catholic League, is such a fucking cunt, he is almost off the scale. I watched him on Larry King last night, on a panel discussion of the current crisis facing the Catholic church.
Donohue was nuts from the opening gate, but watch him achieve full red-in-the face psychotic cunthood as he screams that when boys over the age of 12 are molested by priests, it’s “homosexuality” not “pedophilia.”
This man is breathtakingly crazy. His primary concern is to defend his beloved Pope, and in doing so he reveals the hateful, homophobic underbelly of the Catholic Church, which is apparently run like the Mafia, only with less regard for actual family.

I didn’t know sexual abuse had an age limit? Ok, so if it isn’t paedophilia because the abused child was over 12, logically it becomes straightforward sexual assault/rape. You fail on both morality and coherence, Mr Cuntface.
I’m not Catholic, but I went to Catholic schools as a kid (had experiences somewhat like Jill’s). And the Catholic church is long overdue for some serious reform. I’ve been lucky enough to know some really lovely priests and nuns who are probably hanging their heads in shame- privately- over this. And I hope that whichever nun is taking cathechism lessons in my old school, decides to address this and not brush it under the carpet if a girl asks about it. Not getting my hopes up too far, though.
As for me, I gave up on organised religion altogether after finding out that the man who was my parish priest when I was 17 (I’m Eastern Orthodox, and the clergy are allowed to marry) was an alcoholic wife-beater.
This makes me sad. Child abuse is beyond horrible. There is no defense for it. It’s awful and shameful.
Holy shit. Okay, so correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the word “molested” connote that one of the people involved isn’t consenting? So, even if you were going to argue this ridiculous viewpoint that a 13-year-old boy is somehow more acquainted with and ready for sex than a 12-year-old boy, it’s still molestation.
