I don’t know if this classifies me as a cunt as well, because I agree with “Dr. Laura” that some people DO need a sense of humor about their races and that we should be able to discuss certain things without people being accused of being racists. For example, I believe that different “races” are better at different things. Typically black people are more muscular build, so that means that they are better at sports. Asians typically have more well-developed brains and are faster thinkers than others. White people are, well… Out of luck. Now, this is of course not true for every single person, but I’m just referring to the “norm.” Because I think this I am usually accused of being a raging racist – without people even bothering to ask me how I feel about people. I do believe that our races are different and yes, some people are better at some things than others are – this still doesn’t mean that we should be treated differently or that everybody should have an equal chance at things. We are all social human beings, after all. What I’m trying to say is that “the R-word” is used way too often nowadays. Even if you say that people are “black,” “white,” “yellow,” “green” or whatever, you are automatically classified as a racist. This is the only thing I agree with her on.
That being said that bitch must be on something, because she clearly is as “hyper-sensitive” as she accuses others of being. Demonizing of white people? What is wrong with her? And why does she think that everybody that is black calls each other nigger? Also, how about black comedians? I have never heard Keith Powell say nigger on 30 Rock. Nor have I heard Tracy Morgan, Grizz Chapman or Kevin Brown say it. Are they not all comedians AND black? Or how about Bill Cosby? Or James Avery? Talk about stereotyping people, Dr. Laura.

Once on Dr L’s radio show I heard a woman with an obviously very serious case of depression with thoughts of suicide, complicated by an eating disorder & out of control weight gain, tell L about her feelings of hopelessness and despair and good old Dr. Laura pronounced her ‘lazy.’ That woman might’ve been lazy, among other things, but there’s no way in hell Dr. Laura could’ve divined that from a 30 second phone talk. God, I do, I just want to slap some of those big huge teeth right out of her way-too-big mouth. Has she just got the shit intimidated out of everybody, or what? Why would anybody take that shit?

I just listened to the recording of this and the most horrifying parts of it were not the times that Dr. Laura was saying “nigger nigger nigger!” Although her point that “black people call each other that on HBO” was stupid and meaningless at best, what I found to be even more offensive were certain other comments (or declarations) scattered throughout her “discussion” with the caller, such as her claim early on that black people voted for Barack Obama just because he was half black. By repeatedly calling the caller “hypersensitive,” Dr. Laura basically implied that minorities should just accept that people are going to say and think racist things and believe stereotypes, and not try to do anything about it. Dr. Laura’s speech became faster and higher-pitched as the “discussion” progressed until she was just ranting almost incoherently as the caller sat in stunned silence. I wanted to throw up when I heard her say, “If you’re that hypersensitive about color and don’t have a sense of humor, don’t marry out of your race.” UNBELIEVABLE.

I need to show this to my mother; when I was growing up she used to listen to her all the time and I always asked her “WHYYYY?” She actually liked her and thought she gave good advice while everyone else in my family groaned as soon as she turned on the radio.
