That looks like the red I wear. Except he has fuller lips than me so it looks better. Dick.
I meant to send you this yesterday but had to take the petit garcon out to get him a tennis racquet. He choose a Nadal sponsored on over Federer – this is good because he’s got attitude.
The red is magnificent but perhaps that is why Charles doesn’t eat much, would ruin his lips.
Oh, pretty. I wish I could wear red lipstick but I’m such a scruffy ratbag it would look funny.

I started wearing red this summer. It’s strange, some days I wake up and love it, some days I think it looks clownish on me. One thing’s for sure, in a competition, this kid would be a ladykiller. Look at that pout!
I’m pretty sure pedophiles don’t actually call themselves pedophiles because they don’t think there is anything wrong with them.

Also wanted to say, I did my first outdoor vintage sale yesterday and it went really well. It was a lot of fun. I wish everyone could come here for the Art Murmur thing in my town. It’s getting really exciting.
I wish he’d come over and help me apply mine. Looks like his was done with a steadier hand than I have.
I was thinking that, SW!! Flawless application. It’s so hard to do with red; well, at least for me it is.

Ugh. This takes me back to the time I dated a guy whose hair was silky, blonde, and reached to the middle of his back. The only other time in my life I’ve been jealous of a man’s physical features.

I had some very good experiences with a tube of Elizabeth Arden lipstick a couple of years ago, and bought it in honour of WendyB (along with a lip brush- which pretty much guarantees flawless application). It’s long over, but I think I should replace it. And everyone deserves to have the revelation that is a red lip, irrespective of gender.
I have a MAC lipstick that I’m SURRRRE is pretty darn close to this shade. Damned if the dude doesn’t look hotter in it than I do, though :/

must be the true red from tom ford’s new lipstick line. the best lipstick i ever used, super high in pigments, doesn’t “bleed” and stays on all day, no touch up needed.

It might be Dior no 14 Dolce Vita Red – the Diorific line has great matte lip colours. I wear this colour! I wish I could say I rock it but I’m afraid THIS guy knows truly how to rock lipstick
Hmm a little too orangey for me, I tend to go for more blue reds. But whoa on the application– the kid must know his way around a lipstick brush!

Clearly, I’m not a long time follower of your blog, but considering how good Charles actually looks here, I’m not sure whether you’re being serious or mocking him. I think you’re mocking him?
Either way, I think it’s fantastic that a guy would have the confidence to wear whatever he wants, saying fuck you to gender guidelines, perhaps making a fool of himself in the eyes of those with different stylistic preferences, but definitely rocking a strong aesthetic. I don’t criticize people just for being different, and like other people have noted, he sure knows how to work a lipstick brush.
Long gap between replies, but Kevin, I didn’t read this particular post as a mockery of the boy. And like I said, everyone should have a chance at the wonder that is red lipstick- he looks good, what’s there to mock?
